Global Cuisine Week 2 (1:00-5:00 PM)

Service Description

During this 5 day camp, young chefs will explore a different country and cuisine each day while learning real cooking skills, kitchen confidence, and food traditions from around the globe. Campers will create exciting recipes from scratch, discover new flavors, practice teamwork, and expand their palates in a fun, hands-on environment. Each afternoon will be packed with cooking, learning, tasting, and creativity as we travel through international dishes inspired by cultures from around the world — all without leaving Amarillo! 📍 Monday–Friday | July 6-10 ⏰ 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM 👧 Recommended for children ages 7+ 🌎 New country & menu featured each day Spots will be limited to 8 children to keep the experience interactive and personalized! Parents are welcome to stay during the session, but due to limited parking and HOA rules, we prefer drop-offs! Example Menu (Subject to change!): Monday — 🇮🇹 Italy Young chefs will make homemade pasta from scratch, learn how to use a pasta roller, create fresh sauces, and make classic Italian desserts and appetizers. Tuesday — 🇲🇽 Mexico Children will learn knife skills while making tacos, homemade salsa, quesadillas, churros, guacamole, and other colorful Mexican favorites. Wednesday — 🇨🇳 Asia Students will explore dumpling making, fried rice techniques, noodle dishes, and learn the flavors and ingredients used in Asian cuisine. Thursday — 🇫🇷 France Chefs will create French-inspired pastries, savory crepes, mini quiches, and learn beginner baking and presentation techniques. Friday — 🌺 Hawaiian / Tropical Cuisine Day We’ll finish the week with tropical flavors like Jamaican Jerk Chicken sliders, fruit-based desserts, smoothie bowls, kabobs, and a fun end-of-week celebration party!
